Ciara and Russell Wilson are officially engaged and it didn’t take long for reports to swirl about her ex-fiancee and father of her child, Future, thinks about it.

Word is that Future is all good with Ciara planning to tie the knot with the NFL superstar, but his one concern is their son, baby Future.

“Future wishes her the best,” one insider told Hollywood Life Saturday. “All he cares about is his son and wants Russell to take a back seat to father duties!”

That might be easier said than done. Photos of Wilson and the the toddler, who is turning two years-old in April, have been causing a stir on the Internet ever since Wilson was first spotted pushing the baby around in a stroller last year. And Future was not happy about it (see his response below at the 12:37 mark).

But then Wilson, Ciara and baby Future were seen strutting the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Most recently, the trio were seen enjoying Dodger Stadium together in Los Angeles before he was spotted traveling at an airport alone with the child.

The insider continued and said, “Future’s a good father and his child means everything in the world to him and he hopes Russell knows that and respects that.”

Ciara and Future had their own drama after Wilson was seen getting close with the child. But maybe it will all die down now that Wilson and Ciara are taking their relationship to the next level.
