Banshee fans are going to want to prepare themselves for one incredible season.

On Tuesday, Cinemax released an interview with the cast and crew members who teased what's to come in the fourth and final season. Ivana Milicevic, who plays Carrie, mentioned that the flames will rise in the final episode where even she had to brace herself for what's to come.

"Last year kind of felt wet. This year there's a lot of fire," she said. "When I first read Season 4, I thought, 'Oh, here we go. Buckle up.'"

Co-creator Jonathan Tropper added what he and the writers planned the fourth year with no boundaries expected. And Brock becoming sheriff could be part of that concept.

"Our big goal in starting Season 4 was to basically defy expectations," Tropp said. "At the end of Season 3, Lucas turned in his badge and Brock finally has the gift he's always wanted, he's now the sheriff. He gets that position just in time to deal with Banshee's first serial killer."

Antony Starr, who's known for playing Lucas, dished on how things will be similar to the third season in the fourth year, but will have a different kind of thought centered on everyone.

"It's a little bit more thoughtful and it's a little bit more concentrated around character and stories," Starr said. "Of course, there's still thick lashings of action and gore and all the stuff that we're known for."
