Jo Rivera, Vee Torres: 'Teen Mom 2' Kailyn Lowry Ex-Boyfriend Engaged [VIDEO]
Jo Rivera and Vee Torres are engaged.
Over the weekend, as Rivera's ex-girlfriend, Kailyn Lowry, the mother of his 6-year-old son Isaac, continued to face rumors of a divorce, Torres took to Instagram, where she confirmed she and the longtime Teen Mom 2 star were engaged.
"Jo Rivera has just proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Vee Torres!" The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported on Saturday. "The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter ViVi, last year, and although Jo has said in the past that he wasn’t ready to get married, it seems that his opinion has changed."
The outlet also revealed a surprising fact about the soon-to-be-married pair.
"Many fans of ‘Teen Mom 2’ are unaware that Jo and Vee have been together longer than any other couple currently on ‘Teen Mom 2.’ They began dating in 2012, when Vee appeared in Jo’s rap music video."
The Ashley's Reality Roundup claimed Rivera had been preparing to pop the question for a while.
Meanwhile, as Rivera and Torres prepare to take the next step in their relationship, Lowry has been facing rumors of a possible divorce from husband Javi Marroquin, who is currently deployed, and will remain in Qatar for the next few months.
In response to the rumors, a source recently spoke out, claiming there is no legal separation in place.
“Kailyn and Javi are not legally separated. The reports are false. They are physically separated maybe," a source told OK! Magazine last Thursday. “But everything is the same as it’s always been. Things are good."
The source continued on, claiming the pair "talk everyday," and adding that Lowry is "of course missing Javi.”
“Everyone should worry about their own relationships,” Lowry told Real Mr. Housewife on Thursday. “These rumors are every single year. At this point, maybe they’re true, maybe they’re not.”
