Supernatural is serving up a double dose of Chuck.

The writer/prophet/potential deity dropped off the radar when the Winchester bros. averted the apocalypse, but Rob Benedict's beloved character will weave back into the storyline in episode 20. If Misha Collins' (Castiel/Lucifer) behind-the-scenes live streams are any indication, it looks like Chuck will also crop up in episode 22.

Little is known about the character's reappearance. With the search for God at a fever pitch - Amara (Emily Swallow) would like to treat him to a sibling grudge match millennia in the making - die-hard fans are itching to find out if Chuck is really the leader of the God squad.

Jared Padalecki (Sam) and Jensen Ackles (Dean) have both commented on episode 20, and, even if God fails to show, it sounds like a can't-miss hour.

"There have been few times in my life as Sam Winchester that I've read the script and had tears well in my eyes and the sensation like when you get the shivers and your blood vessels dilate and you get goosebumps...Twenty is awesome," Padalecki teased Sunday at Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural in Nashville. "Twenty is awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome."

Ackles, meanwhile, promised answers while speaking at Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural in Las Vegas.

"I will say that coming up there is an answer to a question that's been asked for quite a long time," Ackles teased. "I'm not going to give it away! [You] probably already know."

In the meantime, Sam and Dean will take on brand-new monster in "Chitters" (see a preview below).

"In a small town in Colorado, mysterious disappearances happen every 27 years," The CW teased. "Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) head to the town to investigate and meet two hunters who have a personal vendetta against these once-in-a-generation monsters."
