As Jessica Parido filed for divorce from Shahs Of Sunset's Mike Shouhed in Nov. 2015, she stepped out with a new man, Karlen Shubaralyan.

While Parido's current relationship with Shubaralyan is unclear as she hasn't been seen with him in months and hasn't posted any photos of the two of them together on social media, Shubaralyan has been making headlines for his possible criminal behavior.

Shubaralyan has been charged with 10 felony charges in a domestic violence case, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office revealed.

According to the announcement, which was shared by PEOPLE Magazine weeks ago, Shubaralyan, is charged with allegedly victimizing his unnamed ex-wife, and faces "one count of each of forcible rape, stalking and first-degree burglary, and two counts each of injuring a spouse and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime and three counts of criminal threats."

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office claimed the incidents allegedly involving Shubaralyan and his ex-wife began in 2014 and continued until the most recent reported incident on Feb. 8.

In addition to Shubaralyan's alleged victimization of his former spouse, the Attorney's Office claimed Shubaralyan was also linked to nine unrelated felony charges, including "grand theft and passing non-sufficient funds checks exceeding $950."

Although Parido has stayed silent in regard to Shubaralyan's legal troubles, the latest report regarding their relationship, which came just weeks before his charges made the news, claimed the two were headed for an engagement.

“Jessica’s boyfriend, Karlen [Shubaralyan], bought her the most beautiful engagement ring,” an insider revealed to In Touch Weekly at the end of January, adding that the businessman had a “romantic” proposal planned for Parido.

“I’m going to show Jessica how a real man treats a woman,” Shubaralyan said at the time.

The magazine insider also said Parido had “no idea” things between her and her boyfriend would move so quickly, but was sure Shubaralyan was "the one."

“Jessica went through hell with Mike. She deserves to be happy,” the insider said.
