Jenelle Evans updated fans on her custody battle for Jace on Twitter over the weekend.

Amid the seventh season of Teen Mom 2, in which Evans is seen at odds with her ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith, over the custody of their child, one-year-old Kaiser, Evans took to Twitter, where she revealed she could soon regain custody of her oldest son.

Since Jace was born, Evans' mother, Barbara Evans, has been the boy's legal guardian, but now that Evans has a more stable lifestyle, she's hoping to gain back her custody rights.

Evans tweet to the fan came around the same time she was spending time with her son, and shared a photo of them together on Instagram.

Last month, Evans addressed her custody battle with Barbara during an interview with PEOPLE Magazine.

"Jace recently asked me: 'When can I live with you again?' " Evans told the magazine. "I said: 'Well, hopefully by the summer you'll be living here.' But that's all I told him – I don't want him to know too much right now 'cause it's really detrimental."

"We really don't talk other than if it's about Jace, because if we are around each other too much we start arguing," Evans added of her and her mother's relationship.

As for her custody battle with Griffith, Evans said, "It's just a lot of butting heads right now. I think he's really not putting all personal issues aside – he's not making it just about Kaiser."

Also on Instagram recently, Evans has been sharing photos and videos of herself and her boyfriend, David Eason, who was introduced to fans earlier this season.
