It seems that John Stamos didn't have the greatest start with the Olsen twins on Full House.

On MT2's Binge Thinking, people on the streets of Pittsburgh were asked random questions, one of them including if they think it's fact or fiction that Stamos tried to get Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fired from the classic sitcom.

People seemed to think it was true especially since they wouldn't blame Stamos for having to work with them. And, according to the clip on MTV, they are correct.

Apparently, the actor really did try to get the twins off the show when they were babies, but odds are likely he developed a change of heart over time.

In fact, Stamos wanted the sisters to come back for the Netflix revival Fuller House. When it was announced that the series would be happening, there was apparently some confusion at first based on what Stamos told SiriusXM.

"They said first I didn't ask them," the actor said about the twins via E! News. "And I didn't personally, but I was told they were asked. So I had a knee-jerk reaction and said, 'Bulls--t, I did ask them.' And they got upset, so I did call and talked to Mary-Kate and explained what the show is going to be and told them I'd love them to be on there and they decided not to, which I respect."

He then pointed out that Mary-Kate and Ashley decided to not join just because they're not actors anymore.

"They seemed very into it. They just were afraid of acting. They don't consider themselves actresses," Stamos said. "I said maybe you guys will be in New York and we'll do a phone call or something and they were like, 'Let us think about it,' and it just wasn't for them."
