Is one of the latest breakout actresses in Hollywood going to star in Deadpool 2?

It might be a possibility as Bella Thorne expressed interest in playing a particular character who may be introduced in the anticipated sequel.

In an interview with Moviefone last Friday, Thorne was asked if there was a particular superhero or villain she would want to play someday.

"Honestly, if I could play a female version of Deadpool--any character that's a female version of Deadpool--I'm so down!" she said.

Considering that there is a Lady Deadpool, also known as Wanda Wilson of Earth-3010, perhaps, the actress might be considered for taking on this role in the future. There is no word yet if this character will be in the upcoming sequel, but if she is, maybe Thorne will be kept in mind.

At 18-years-old, Thorne has developed a pretty decent resume for herself with roles in Shake It Up!, The DUFF and Blended. Whatever opportunity comes along next, the actress couldn't be more grateful to be a part of it.

"I mean, I'm just so lucky," she said. "I'm lucky I get to do what I do, and I've been given the opportunity to do it. I'm all about playing different people and just being me. I love to step out of my comfort zone. Whenever I get to do something really interesting, I really have to pay attention and really just do my full- my hardest that I can."

Thorne also mentioned that she's a woman who sticks up for herself, which can lead to unfair double standards.

"People might say that I'm a b-tch because I don't let people push me around, or women are b-tchy when they don't let people use them a certain way," she said. "But not true. If I was a guy saying the same thing, he'd be like, 'Oh, that's a hot guy. He really sticks up for himself. He's so manly.'"

Deadpool 2 is expected to hit theaters in 2017.
