A rep for Robert Downey Jr. confirmed to People Magazine that the Sherlock Holmes actor and his wife, Susan, welcomed a baby boy at 7:24 a.m. today. Exton Elias Downey weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces.

"Everyone is healthy and they couldn't be happier," a friend of the couple said.

The baby is the first child for Downey and his producer wife. He has an 18-year-old son, Indio, from a previous marriage.
