Marvel has exposed one of Captain America: Civil War's greatest mysteries--which characters will take part in the emotionally packed helicopter scene.

The exact extend of Caps (Chris Evans) abilities is unknown, but, as per the original Civil War trailer, the Star-Spangled Avenger will push his super-soldier body to the limit when he takes on Team Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) After free falling from the Triskelion in Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers will attempt to defy gravity once more as he wrangles a mid-flight helicopter.

If you were wondering why Caps is attempting to become Mr. Fantastic, we have the answer. Marvel posted the following photo earlier this week, and it certainly caught us off guard. While many fans theorized that Captain America is attempting to save Bucky (Sebastian Stan) from his captors, it is quite the opposite.

Bucky Barnes, what exactly do you think you're doing? Caps risked war to keep you out of government hands, and you're not being particularly cooperative. It looks like the BFFs are in the middle of a plot twist.

We don't know why Bucky is making a vertical getaway, but director Joe Russo teased the scene while speaking with Empire.

"He's hanging onto that helicopter for an extremely passionate reason," Russo explained. "In stories you'll read where a mother will lift a car off a child. There's something very important happening in that scene and for us it really represented his struggle as a character, one man pitted against a helicopter that's trying to take off. Can he stop it? And what are the limits of his strength? For us, it's one of the most powerful shots in the movie..."
