Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato 2016: Are The Ladies Beefing After Throwing Shade At 2016 Met Gala? [VIDEO]
It looks like there were more than fancy gowns and tuxedos going down at the Met Gala Monday night.
Singer Demi Lovato has hinted that she had a not-so-pleasant run-in with rapper and actress Nicki Minaj.
She shared a photo with her, Nicki and Creative Director for Moschino, Jeremy Scott.
In the snapshot, it looks like Nicki is giving Lovato a mean side eye and Lovato confirmed that there was some “shade being thrown” in the caption.
She wrote, “This pretty much summed up my first and probably last met [LOL]… #cool #soawkward #notforme #sweatpants #forensicfiles #whatsgood…”
After getting comments from fans, she later added, “p.s. some of y’all need to learn how to take a joke… I’m obviously laughing at the fact that 1. I look incredibly awkward and 2. That the shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life…”

She also seems to have taken to Snap Chat to call out Nicki for posting a photo with her and Scott, but only mentioning Scott. “When you aren’t mentioned in the post but didn’t do [anything] to the person…[LOL] See that over at The Shade Room. Interestingly enough, Nicki also shared a photo of herself posing while Lovato was bent over.
