Jenelle Evans' boyfriend, David Eason, is caught in the middle of her custody battle with ex-fiance Nathan Griffith on Teen Mom 2.

During the latest episode of the show, Eason was seen communicating with Griffith about his desire to see his young son, one-year-old Kaiser.

“He did text me and said, ‘When can I see my son?’” Eason told Evans of a text sent to him by Griffith, as reported by Us Weekly on Monday.

Evans and Griffith welcomed son Kaiser in 2014 and in early 2015, they became engaged. However, a short time after Griffith proposed, their relationship took a major turn for the worse and after a couple of arrests, they parted ways.

“Right now, right now, I want you to text him and be like, ‘Hey, I just saw all this, and we were just discussing about you seeing Kaiser. Have you got his necessities for him yet?’” Evans tells Eason of what to write back to Griffith. “So it doesn’t look like, when we go to court, that we’re ignoring him.”

“Oh, and say, ‘And we need to know the location of where [you] will be staying,’” she added. “Send it.”

Aftter Eason does as instructed, he receives a text back from Griffith, which reads, “I have [the necessities] and I will [send you pictures]. Also, I do not feel comfortable telling either one of you where I live. I hope Kaiser is doing great, and once I am able to see my son … I’ll send you a picture of the stuff I have.”

In November of last year, as she filmed Teen Mom 2 season seven, Evans spoke to GlamMir, via Us Weekly, revealing Griffith hadn't yet taken the steps necessary for visitation.

“Me and Nathan, we’re not really on talking terms,” she revealed. “I moved away and ever since then I’ve just been doing my own thing.”

“I said, ‘If you want to see Kaiser bad enough, you can take me to court for visitation because I don’t trust you,” she explained of Griffith, alleging, “He hasn’t filed papers, he hasn’t done anything. It’s been a month or two since he’s seen him.”

Since the interview took place, Griffith filed paperwork for custody.
