Twilight actress Kristen Stewart will turn 23 on April 7, and she is reportedly planning to spend her low-key birthday with a few friends and her boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

A friend of Stewart told Hollywood Life that Stewart doesn't make a big deal out of her birthday and isn't too concerned with gifts. But, she might want a puppy.

The friend said, "Spending time with Rob is the best birthday present for her." She added, "If she were to want a gift from Rob, it would be another rescue dog. Another friend for Bear and Bernie...another member of the family."

The couple has been spending time together since reuniting after Stewart's cheating debacle with director Rupert Sanders.

According to Perez Hilton, Stewart has been different since the incident and is more committed to her relationship with Pattinson and more available.

"Kristen's doing everything she can to make it work. She's been a lot cooler ... Before the thing with Rupert, Kristen played hard to get. Not anymore. She is going out of her way to prove herself," according to the blog.

Despite the closeness, Hollywood Life reported that the couple is not looking for a home together at the moment.

A source told the publication, "Rob would never put that kind of pressure on things right now. Plus, he's still making Kristen prove herself. She's being so sweet to him and working so hard to make him happy. It used to be the other way around completely, so Rob's loving the change."
