The film adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey continues to create Internet buzz on a massive scale. While household names such as The Vampire Diaries Ian Somerhalder, White Collars' Matt Bomer and Man of Steel's Henry Cavill continue to be the subjects of the saucy chatter, one actor that may have fallen through the cracks in terms of prospective Christian Grey's is Mirror Mirror's Armie Hammer.

According to a July 2012 write-up in What Culture, the 26-year old is "handsome and he's a real physical presence in the Golden Age tradition of leading men, and would bring something to the role of that sort of era, which would be an interesting way to add depth to the character."

The site also goes on to say that Hammer has a business-like presence about him, possessing a "day face," along with an animal presence and sexual prowess.

The producers have yet to attach a director or publically announce the franchise's casting protocol. However, the racy flick is slated for its big screen release in the summer of 2014.

Screenwriter Kelly Marcel is in the midst of writing the Fifty Shades script and stated that the movie would be staying true to the book with lots of sex and raunchiness, as the producers are shooting for an NC-17 rating, according to a previous write-up in Style
Magazine.
