Goodbye, Nick Hagelin. The Voice announced its Top 8 on Tuesday, and, sadly, you did not make the cut.

Two weeks in the Bottom Two isn't always a death sentence on The Voice, but for Hagelin, there was no recovering from the double whammy. Hailing form Team Christina Aguilera, Hagelin took the stage alongside the other Top 9 on Monday in hopes of reaching the Top 8 with the help of popular vote, Instant Save, or the iTunes Multiplier. While Twitter rallied to his aid last week, Hagelin was left out in the cold on Tuesday.

Following his performance of Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home on Monday, Hagelin landed in the Bottom Two alongside Team Blake Shelton's Paxton Ingram. The latter's rendition of How Will I Know won him the Instant Save, however, and Haglin was sent packing.

While it was certainly a night of disappointments for Team Xtina, Team Blake not only clinched the Twitter race, but one of the country star's mentees also found his way into the iTunes Top 10. Adam Wakefield's version of Love Has No Pride joined Laith Al-Saadi's (Team Adam Levine) We've Got Tonight on the singles chart, thereby earning each performer the coveted iTunes bonus.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
