The 48th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards aired on Sunday, April 7 on CBS.

The live ceremony was hosted by leadng country crooners Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan and held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Shelton and Bryan performed tonight as well as a host of old school and current country artists including Jason Aldean; Kenny Chesney; Tim McGraw; Taylor Swift; Carrie Underwood; Lady Antebellum; Kelly Clarkson; Hunter Hayes; Miranda Lambert; Brad Paisley; George Strait; Garth Brooks; and the Band Perry.

Eric Church lead the nominees' list- he earned seven nominations this year. Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are competing for the Entertainer Of The Year Award. Swift took a new direction and offered a more pop sound with her last album, Red, so it is likely Underwood will win the honor this year.
