Aubrey O'Day and Pauly D have confirmed their relationship is back on after a short split earlier this year.

Following a days-long breakup, Aubrey and Pauly, who recently filmed Famously Single together in Los Angeles, confirmed they were back together with a series of photos on Instagram.

"They are back together. They still really care for each other," a source told E! News on Thursday.

After dating for just about three months, Aubrey and Pauly called it quits but it wasn't clear why. In a statement after the split, all Aubrey would say about the breakup was that she and Pauly "tried" to make it work.

"I'm the first girl Pauly has ever loved as he admits on the show – never loving before me," Aubrey told E! News weeks ago. "He brought me into his life with his daughter and mother, who I respect dearly. Nothing about our relationship was not serious. Neither of our busy schedules have anything to do with why this didn't work. At the end of the day, we tried our best."

Prior to their temporary split, Aubrey explained her attraction to the former Jersey Shore star.

"We connect in a really interesting way. I mean, it's definitely something you're gonna want to tune in and watch we have a very funny relationship," she gushed to E! News in February. "Pauly's wit. He's incredibly funny and smart and very talented... Pauly makes me stay in the moment and get out of my head. I'm so analytical and I have to assess risk everywhere I go and Pauly's taught me how to lighten up and enjoy life."

During their time on Famously Single, Aubrey and Pauly, along with other celebrities, including former NFL pro Willis McGahee and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, met with therapist and relationship professionals in hopes of getting to the bottom of why they were "famously single."
