The husband of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans pleaded guilty to two counts of assault against the actress on Monday morning.

"Courtland Rogers pleaded guilty to one count of assault on a female and one count of assault on an unborn child," said Evans' attorney, according to Radar Online. "He received a probation sentence of 24 months."

Evans, 21, filed the charges in January after a fight in their home, and she claimed that Rogers, 27, hit her while she was pregnant. She subsequently miscarried their baby. At the time, her husband was arrested and brought to Brunswick County jail, facing up to a year in prison for the charges.

The pair separated for a few months and battled accusatory remarks at each other, with Rogers accusing her of doing drugs while she was pregnant , which Evans had denied.

The couple have since made up and are now living together again, with Evans tweeting the following after her husband's hearing

According to the Radar Online report, Evans tried to drop the charges against Rogers, but the state picked them up instead.
