Her own legal troubles are now a thing of the past after her hearing, but Ciara's (Vivian Jovanni) troubles could only be beginning on Days of Our Lives.

Even though she isn't getting a harsh punishment for vandalizing a judge's car at the prom, a bigger dilemma could soon unfold in her life. Her step-father, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) has returned to Salem and claims the man who tried to kill her mother, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was a doppelganger. However, more troubling to the teen is Aiden's insistence that there is no way his son, Chase (Jonathan McClendon) raped her, and his assurances he will get his son out of jail.

Aiden believes Ciara has embellished the story a little bit, even though when he visited with his son, who was shocked to see him, Chase admitted that the story is as Ciara has told it. Still, Aiden is determined to give his son a fair trial and a chance at a defense, and the news that Chase could once again be out on the streets has Ciara scared about her future.

Now, an equally worried Hope is nervous about what the news could mean for her daughter, because Ciara has told her that if Chase gets out of prison, she won't be able to control herself and won't be able to hold back when it comes to getting revenge on him. Considering her daughter does still have a criminal record, despite escaping a sentence, this will have Hope even more worried and concerned, because if Ciara went after Chase, and was unable to defend herself from the charges, she could wind up in prison as well.

As she continues fretting over her daughter, Hope will confide in Rafe (Galen Gering) with her concerns, which are also compounded by Aiden's continued attempts to try and see if he can win her back, because he claims he still loves her. However, after she talks to Rafe, Hope could feel more assured about things working out better.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
