While we still wait to hear Tamar Braxton’s side of what happened before she was let go from The Real, rumor has it that the show has already found her replacement.

“The person who’s going to replace Tamar is KeKe Palmer,” one insider told Bossip Friday. Apparently Palmer has her own history with show’s new the Executive Producer Rachel Miskowiec as Miskowiec played a part in Palmer’s former talk show Just KeKe that ran on BET.

Palmer taking Braxton’s slot might not be so far-fetched because Just KeKe and The Real are both under Telepictures. And Miskowiec is said to be fond of Palmer as well.

“She likes KeKe and KeKe of course wants to do another talk show. She’s on the fast track to being in that role.”

Interestingly enough, Miskowiec is rumored to be the reason Braxton was let go. Apparently the two ladies had several run-ins since Miskowiec signed on as Executive Producer of The Real last year.

The source continued and said, “She is the person who is behind Tamar getting fired.”

The network’s decision not to renew Braxton for the show’s third season was pretty shocking as it was the first shakeup the show had seen since it launched back in 2013. Season three is slated to start in August but Braxton had already done a photo shoot for the new episodes along with her now former co-hosts: Tamera Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai.
