It looks like Blake Shelton is finally thinking what the rest of us have been thinking for quite some time now. The country star along with his girlfriend Gwen Stefani have fast become one of the most talked about couples in the entertainment industry and now Shelton is worried that it might not only have a negative effect on their relationship, but their careers, too.

In fact, according to In Touch Weekly this past week, a source close to Shelton says the country star is worried that he and Stefani may turn off fans by constantly putting their relationship front and center and he's supposedly asked her stop promoting their relationship on her multiple social media accounts.

"He's asked Gwen to stop posting so many selfies of them," the supposed insider dished to the gossip magazine, adding: “He just wants to keep their special moments private. It’s the first time they’ve disagreed about something.”

But for anyone on team Blake who may argue that it's actually maybe about modesty and not PR savviness, the source shot THAT down by explaining "He knows that the public needs to be a part of their love story...He just doesn’t want to constantly share all these pictures of them kissing or hanging out backstage.”

So far neither Stefani nor Shelton have made any comments about the report. Shelton ended his marriage to Miranda Lambert last summer while Stefani pulled the plug on hers with Gavin Rossdale a few months later. The ex-couple share three children together, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.
