New stills from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire were released on April 12 and they feature Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and others from the film's all-star cast.

In one picture, fans can see Gale Hawthorne (Hemsworth) getting dragged away by the Capitol's Peacekeepers. The 22-year-old Australian-born actor will have a more prominent role in the franchise's second film, as he helps Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson) fight against the Capitol. In another still from the film Everdeen is seen consoling her younger sister Prim, who looks visibly upset.

One of the stills also show Philip Seymour Hoffman as new Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee. He is seen in the photo talking to Donald Sutherland's character, President Snow. District escort Effie Trinket (Elisabeth Banks) is also shown walking a dressed-up Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark around the Capitol. 

It was announced earlier that English actor Sam Claflin (Snow White and the Huntsman) was cast to play tribute Finnick Odair, and Jena Malone (Into the Wild) as Johanna Mason. Casting for the rest of the tributes are as follows:

The film adaptation of the famed trilogy by author Suzanne Collins will hit theaters November 2013. In Catching Fire, Katniss is back home after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games with fellow tribute Peeta. She reunites with her family and also her best friend Gale but then embarks with Mellark on a Victory Tour of the districts, As the same time, President Snow gets ready for the 75th Annual Hunger Games, called The Quarter Quell.
