The series premiere of American Gothic is set to air on CBS Wednesday night, but here's how you can stream it online.

American Gothic is a new limited series that centers on the influential Hawthorne family of Boston, Mass. The first episode, titled "Arrangement in Grey and Black," centers on the family discovering that one of their own might be the cause of various grisly murders.

"After 14 years, the case of 'The Silver Bells Killer' is reopened and the Hawthorne family find themselves wondering if one of their own could be behind the grisly killings that rocked the city of Boston," the CBS plot synopsis reads. "As shocking secrets from the past and present are revealed, their mounting suspicion and paranoia that one of them is a killer threatens to tear the family apart."

American Gothic stars Justin Chatwin, Megan Ketch, Antony Starr, Juliet Rylance, Elliot Knight, Stephanie Leonidas, Gabriel Bateman and Oscar nominee Virginia Madsen.

The miniseries was created by Corinne Brinkerhoff, who has previously worked on The Good Wife and Boston Legal. While the miniseries shares the same title as 1995 CBS horror series, the two are not related.

While reviews have been mixed on American Gothic overall, you should try out the first episode for yourself.

American Gothic is slated to premiere Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, with episodes airing throughout the summer in this timeslot.

If you cannot watch American Gothic on cable television, there is an option. You can use CBS All Access at 10 p.m., where the series will be shown through live stream. All you need to do is sign up for a seven-day free trial.

And if you choose to stick with CBS All Access ($5.99 per month), new episodes will be available to watch whenever you want.
