'Dragon Ball Super' News And Updates: Black Goku To Fuse With Goku In Episode 50? [VIDEO]

Thanks to a recent leak, fans are now sure that Dragon Ball Super would feature an epic clash between Goku and his Black Goku within the next couple of episodes. While the clash between the two titans of power and strength would surely be a spectacle to behold, some serious concerns would need to be addressed by the popular anime in order to make its narrative far more compelling.

For one, it must be able to address the alleged power gap between Goku and his evil counterpart. Basing their strength from the way they react to Future Trunks' attacks, it would seem like Black Goku, at least in his present state, is weaker than Goku. Thus, if this is the case, how could he be a satisfactory threat to the anime's strongest characters?

The answer to this might actually lie in the Potara earring that Black Goku has been wearing. Notably, the Potara earring the new villain has been sporting has fueled speculation that he would be fusing with one of the main characters pretty soon. Thus, it would actually make a lot of sense if Black Goku fuses with a main character within the next few episodes to make himself stronger.

If this is indeed the case, there is a pretty big possibility that Black Goku would end up fusing with Goku at the conclusion of their fight. Episode 50 would be dedicated to the battle between the two Gokus, and with the arc only a few episodes in, Black Goku might actually pull something off that would ultimately incapacitate the strongest Z warrior in the present.

Fans are pretty unanimous in the notion that Black Goku's Potara earring would play a huge part in the plot of the ongoing Future Trunks arc. After all, similar earrings have been worn by other evil characters in the past, most notably Demigra, a character from Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

With the current pace of the narrative, and keeping the leaked Dragon Ball Super episode titles in mind, it would definitely seem like Black Goku's Potara earring would finally play a key role in the plot.
