Eric Christian Olsen Baby: Actor Expecting Boy with Wife Sarah Wright

Eric Christian Olsen, the funny man of NCIS: LA, is expecting a baby.

The 35-year-old actor and his wife Sarah Wright are ready to welcome a baby boy in August, according to People.

Olsen, who is best known for his role as Marty Deeks on the CBS procedural NCIS: LA, shared the news with fans yesterday.  

"Something magical is happening," the actor tweeted. "I'm pretty sure I'm at least half way responsible for such a thing."

Meanwhile, Wright, who features occasionally on Parks and Recreation, is busy exposing the world to Olssen's softer side.

"Every day he kisses the baby bump one time for every week old the baby is," Wright told People. "This morning he was running late, but I still got 22 kisses on the belly before he ran out the door."

Olseen discussed his reaction to seeing the sonogram and his excitement about becoming a father.

"When they handed me the 3D sonogram and I saw Sarah's perfect lips and that little Norwegian nose just like mine, I was overcome with a sense of clarity in the world that I can only imagine is beginning of fatherhood," Olsen told People. "We're so excited and can't wait to meet him."
