Lady Gaga is no longer part of Forbes' Celebrity 100 list, but why?

The pop superstar has had an amazing year thus far, having been nominated for her first Oscar, performing a tribute to David Bowie at the Grammys, performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and winning a Golden Globe for her acting in American Horror Story: Hotel. Yet she is no longer part of the elite Celebrity 100, a list created by Forbes that reveals the top earning celebrities of the year.

"Lady Gaga-who ranked No. 25 last year with earnings of $59 million-was nominated for an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a Golden Globe during our scoring period for her music and acting work, yet wasn't in our top 100 earners in 2016," Forbes explains in a new article.

However, they note later in the article that performer earnings tend to go down when they are not on tour. Such is the case with Gaga, who is busy working on her upcoming fifth studio album, tentatively set for release later this year.

Gaga fans, a.k.a. Little Monsters, have been clamoring for any new piece of information about her new album, colloquially referred to as "LG5". Luckily, Billboard recently put out a report revealing that the album is expected to come out in the fourth quarter of the year, according to sources. This means that fans should expect the album to be released in either October, November or December of this year.

Famous Gaga producer and collaborator RedOne has commented on his contributions to her new album, telling People that the songs are "a mixture of classic music and futuristic, too - I didn't want to go too far from what she is. We kept it [similar to] what Gaga is, what she's done all these years. It's special."

Gaga and RedOne have created some of the most iconic songs of her career, including "Just Dance", "Bad Romance", "Alejandro" and "Poker Face".
