The Bachelor 2013 star Sean Lowe's life has been on whirlwind ever since the season finale aired on March 12. He appeared on season 16 of Dancing With The Stars a week later when it premiered on March 18.
Lowe found the time in-between his intense DWTS rehearsals for the weekly live hit dancing competition to discuss the show, his appreciation for his soon-to-be-wife's support and how he feels about the false reports that the couple are breaking up.
Lowe said his life post-Bachelor has "been an absolute whirlwind."
"My life's done a complete 180 in the past year," Lowe told PARADE. "But I'm still the same guy I've always been. I still have the same values and standards, and I know what's most important to me. I know all of this that's going on around me right now is not going to last forever, so I'm just enjoying the moment while I can. I'll be back to my normal life eventually."
Lowe said Giudice, who sits front row each week, is his "greatest motivation" when he competes.
"She's my number one fan, and it feels so good to know that she supports me 100 percent," he said of her support. "She's there every Monday and Tuesday rooting for me. She's actually a much better dancer than I am, so I think people would rather see her!"
Lowe also addressed the rumors in tabloids that the couple are heading toward splitsville.
"I don't pay much attention to those stories because I know that they're all fictitious, and they're just out to sell magazines," he explained. "I know what's important and that's faith, family, and friends. That's where my focus is. Catherine and I don't pay too much attention to the tabloids and blogs and everything else."
It was revealed that the couple have set a wedding date. According to Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergeron Bergeron, the big day is set for the month of August this year and it will be televised.
Bergeron slipped the news on April 15 live on DWTS when he said, "My understanding is that the marriage ceremony of Sean and Catherine [Giudici] is scheduled to be broadcast on ABC in August," before he announced this week's elimination.
Lowe must have been unaware that Bergeron would slip the news - when the show's cameras turned to the reality star, he looked shocked and immediately looked at his dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd, for a reaction.
Watch Tom Bergeron reveal the couple's wedding date at the 7:55 mark below.
