Steven Avery's new attorney has revealed what the recently-ordered second season of Making a Murderer will examine.

Kathleen Zellner, who is Avery's new attorney working on proving the Wisconsin native's innocence, previewed what viewers will witness in the new episodes of Making a Murderer.

"The new Netflix episodes will reveal all of the new evidence we have developed to show Steven is innocent and was framed for a second time," Zellner said in a new People statement.

Zellner has been working on Avery's case since earlier this year. The attorney tweeted in February that "the inevitable" was coming regarding the case and has frequently posted about various evidence they are examining.

Meanwhile, the new episodes of Making a Murderer will also pick up where things left off in Brendan Dassey's case. Dassey's attorney, Laura N. Nirider, spoke with People about his client's gratitude over the support he's been getting over these past seven months.

"What gives him hope is the letters he receives from people all around the world," Nirider said. "Those letters and his family are the reasons he gets up nowadays. He is hopeful and grateful."

She explained: "The whole world saw what happened to him over the course of season one. People are rightfully up in arms about what happened to him, and we are grateful a spotlight will continue to be shown on his case."

Netflix announced on Tuesday that it was picking up Making a Murderer for more episodes, which will continue to be produced by filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos.

"We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series," Ricciardi and Demos said in a statement coinciding with the renewal. "The viewers' interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold."

Making a Murderer season 2 does not yet have a release date on Netflix.
