Brandi Maxiell and Shaunie O’Neal are finally coming face-to-face in the next episode of Basketball Wives LA on VH1.

And while both ladies had lots to say about one another, when they finally sat down together, it was “awkwardly” silent.

“This is awkward…,” Malaysia Pargo pointed out, being the first to break the silence.

Maxiell also noticed the radio silence but explained why she didn’t want to be the first to speak.

“Shaunie, you’re the boss right? You started it all. You had your posse come to me and tell me I need to apologize. So you need to start it.”

A tipsy Jackie Christie added a little light to the situation when she had an awkward moment of her own. But she was able to try to bring peace.

Maxiell finally spoke to O’Neal and told her how she was surprised when Christie and Tami Roman told her she needs to apologize when Maxiell and O’Neal had already discussed their issues. But O’Neal had a different perspective.

“Well from my understanding you had some issue with an interview that I supposedly did and talked about you. I just need to know what that interview was.”

Maxiell brought up an interview O’Neal did back in December in which Maxiell said O’Neal accused her of “calling a million times” to make sure she still had her job after their fallout.

O’Neal stood by her statement and said, “You called me several times,” while Maxiell said it didn’t happen that way.

“I did not call you over and over pertaining to my job.”

That’s when O’Neal revealed, “You asked me specifically do you have a job?”

They continued to go back-and-forth. Check it out below.
