Mysterious new promos for the sixth season of FX's American Horror Story have showed up on Snapchat, giving fans a tease of what's coming.

New promos for season 6 of American Horror Story reportedly appeared on Snapchat on Wednesday, and while not officially confirmed by FX yet, they do look convincingly real. There are three promos in all, each centered on a different concept.

The first promo features a baby's mobile spinning around, made up of a question mark, the number six and a large knife. A mysterious creature then grabs the knife as a baby wails in terror. The trailer does not feature a subtitle reveal.

The second trailer shows a girl running down metal steps as various hands reach out from each step trying to grab her. She too is screaming. The promo then reveals a very creepy question mark and the number six.

The final promo, perhaps the most intriguing of all, features a large house in the middle of nowhere with a cloud of black smoke coming out of the chimney. The smoke forms into a six and a question mark as a chainsaw is heard.

There's not much connective tissue between these three promos, but some Twitter users have their theories already.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if FX will confirm the validity of these promos.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
