She definitely wanted to mess with her ex-husband's life when she came to Port Charles, and maybe even wanted to screw things up for Maxie (Kirsten Storms) as well, and now, after Maxie's latest move gives her some perfect ammunition, Claudette (Bree Williamson) will use it to her advantage on General Hospital.

Maxie wants to find a way to get Claudette out of town and away from her and Nathan (Ryan Paevy) forever, but so far hasn't found solid evidence that her enemy has ulterior motives or is trying to gain something else from her trip. In an effort to get to her through her work at Crimson, Maxie installed malware on Claudette's computer through an email, but Claudette was one step ahead of her with Malware protection which traced it back to the sender, and Maxie was exposed right in front of Nina (Michelle Stafford),

And though Nina also wants dirt on Claudette in the hopes she'll be able to make sure her brother is protected from more games, she will be enraged because Maxie's stunt put Crimson, which is doing well again but still in need of more successes to keep it from folding completely, at risk.

"Why would you do something like that?" Nina asks her in a preview clip for the Thursday, July 28 episode.

And as Maxie is forced to explain herself and risk losing her boss's trust at work, which gives Claudette an edge there, the former Mrs. West will then try to turn the advantage towards herself with Nathan as well. After seeing him and claiming she wanted closure on their past too, which convinced him that his initial thoughts she was there for sabotage were wrong, she knows hearing that Maxie tried to attack her in front of the boss will give her sympathy points, so she will head off to see Nathan and turn up the tears so she can make her case for herself.

"I just came to say goodbye," she cries in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
