Does Jenelle Evans struggle with her finances?

Although the Teen Mom 2 star is currently clearing out a piece of land where she and boyfriend David Eason intend to build a new home, Evans recently complained about her money situation on social media.

“We financially struggle as well…everyone thinks our lives are full of money,” Evans began in a now-deleted post on Facebook, as reported by Real Mr. Housewife on Monday. “We pay hundreds of thousands in taxes every year. We cannot get government assistance, if we go to school we pay in full and cannot get financial aid.”

Evans claims to have it rough, despite her reported $100,000 per season paycheck from MTV. However, with new cars and plans for a large home in North Carolina, it's hard to believe things are really that bad.

Evans also claimed she “can’t get WIC, food stamps and section 8," and said that she had bad credit.

"If your credit is bad like mine then you cannot finance even a car for your family and take more money to buy a car in full,” she explained.

However, around the same time, Evans claimed she had fixed her credit in a post to fans on Twitter.

Jenelle Evans and her family are currently filming the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2.
