If there's one thing that Pokémon GO really got right, it is the fact that the game was able to fully transpose the toil that the quest for the titular pocket monsters into the real world. Since its release in several territories, gamers have begun to realize that rare Pokemon really does exist, and just like their name, capturing them is a pain.

Among these rather rare creatures are Jynx, Electabuzz, Scyther, Lapras and Magmar. While these Pokémon go spawn in some areas from time to time, they are nonetheless considered to be quite rare. Fortunately, there is a way to capture them. Here's a guide on how you can do just that.

Electabuzz

Amusingly, this electric-type Pokemon has been reported to spawn rather frequently around school campuses and other industrial areas, probably because of the presence of all those electric wires and generators. Then again, you can also hatch a 10KM egg to get this Pokémon.

Scyther

Arguably one of the coolest-looking Pokémon around, this Bug/Flying type has been found to spawn frequently in forests, parks, golf courses, gardens and meadows. Open fields work pretty well too. If you're out of luck, a 10KM egg usually does the trick.

Lapras

This Water/Ice-type Pokemon is one of the most popular creatures in the franchise. In Pokémon GO, Lapras has been found to be among the creatures with the best stats. Considering its type, the best places to find this Pokemon would be in lakes, rivers and beaches. A 10KM egg comes in handy as well, if you're not up to traveling.

Magmar

Magmar is probably one of the most powerful Fire-type Pokemon out there, and true to its type, it has been reported to spawn in dry places. Just like the others, a 10KM egg does the trick too, if you do not wish to look for Pokemon in the heat.

Jinx

This Psychic-type Pokémon has been seen spawning around grassy and wet areas. Considering its type, Jinx has also been found lurking around hospitals and other buildings. Otherwise, the 10KM egg trick works wonders once more.

With these five in your Pokedex, you would be one definitive step closer to your goal of being the best like no one ever was.
