Lady Gaga took the world by storm on Wednesday when she announced her new single, and some industry insiders have apparently already heard it.

Gaga's new single "Perfect Illusion" will come out in September, according to the pop superstar herself. While millions of Little Monsters all over the world are dying to hear the new song, some have actually listened to it. That's because Gaga played her song at iHeartRadio headquarters in New York City on Wednesday, and the verdict appears to be very positive.

iHeartRadio wrote up a glowing review of "Perfect Illusion", describing it as finding a "sweet space in Mother Monster's catalogue alongside some of her best dance floor anthems."

"The song is about modern ecstasy," Gaga said at the event. "We found our sweet, simple, ragey way of saying it," She added, "I get this sick adrenaline rush every time I hear it."

The iHeart Theater Twitter account has been posting regularly about Gaga's new song and getting fans even more hyped for its release. Answering questions from fans, they stated that "Perfect Illusion" is "[probably our] new fave lead single, but we still love all of those too." Considering her previous lead singles include such smash hits as "Bad Romance" and "Born This Way", this is particularly high praise.

The Twitter account also said they were "humming it all day" and that the song was a "massive bop", which is just about the highest praise you can receive these days in pop music.

There's still no set release date for "Perfect Illusion" other than "September", but many fans are just grateful to have new Gaga music in their lives within a month. Gaga will also be seen in the upcoming sixth season of American Horror Story, which has been mostly been kept secretive, much like Gaga's new music.

Gaga is expected to release her fifth studio album by the end of 2016, though a release date is not yet known.
