They believed all hope for them to be a family again was lost because he was going to be in jail for ten years for assaulting a guard, but thanks to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braden), Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) and Adam (Justin Hartley) will be reunited on The Young and the Restless.

On the way to being transported to the prison, Adam was abducted and brought to a cabin somewhere secluded by hus father, who wanted to make things right for him as an apology for setting him up to look like he murdered Constance. And though Adam had a hard time coming around to it, he began to realize his father's plan to help him escape and start his life over elsewhere without any of his family ever seeing him again is his only chance to be with Chelsea and Connor, and he will decide to actually trust Victor and go through with the plan.

Meanwhile, Nikki is trying to sneakily get Chelsea connected to her husband so he can detail the plan to her, something she successfully does by leaving Chelsea the other burner phone that connects to Adam on the other side. And now, Chelsea will learn that she and Adam have no other choice but to listen to what Victor and Nikki are telling them if they want any chance at all to be together.

"The only chance at a future together is taking my father's word, so right now, we have to trust him," Adam says to her in a preview clip for the Monday, August 29 episode.

And though she knows that if they get caught it will mean potential jail time for her as well, Chelsea will be prepared to risk it all if it means getting to be reunited with the man she loves, and she and Connor will use the secret passageway tunnel in her closet to sneak out of the penthouse without anyone knowing they've gone so they can meet up with Adam. However, it won't take long before Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) realize they're missing, and a search for both them and Adam will quickly commence.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
