Three Big Brother 18 houseguests have done virtually nothing to change the game up in any way.

Head of Household: Nicole Franzel

Nominees: Michelle Meyer and Paul Abrahamian

Other houseguests: Corey Brooks, James Huling, Natalie Negrotti and Victor Arroyo

As of Wednesday morning, the expectation in the Big Brother house is that James and Natalie will vote to evict Paul, Corey and Victor will vote to evict Michelle, and HOH Nicole will break the tie and evict Michelle. This has been the plan for several days now, but James, Natalie and Michelle are somehow still in the dark about Paul not being evicted.

Much of the onus is on James, who has continuously stifled all suspicions among Natalie and Michelle that Paul might not be evicted after all. Natalie has been wanting to talk to Nicole and Corey about the plan for this week, but James has told her not to, saying they still had some sort of secret alliance.

James' confidence had even extended to possibly agreeing to throw the next HOH competition if Corey bribed him with the $5,000. However, Natalie saw Victor quizzing Corey about days in the Big Brother house, for the inevitable "Days" competition, which indicated to her that they might be working together. It finally got through to James that his alliance of three might not be as safe as he once thought.

James said he intended to talk to Nicole on Wednesday, the day before the eviction. It remains to be seen what James will do once Nicole tells him that the plan is to get out Michelle. Any good will James might have had to influence Nicole is probably out the window, considering she's said repeatedly that he's sketched her out by not talking to her all week.

Regardless, Michelle said she had no intention of even talking to Nicole, saying she doesn't respect her gameplay. Michelle complained about Nicole sitting up in her HOH room and not talking to the "commoners" - despite the fact that her and Natalie essentially did the same thing last week.

It remains to be seen if anything will change on Wednesday, though stranger things have happened in the Big Brother house.

Big Brother 18 returns with another new episode Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
