She hasn't seen him in decades since he was believed to be dead, but Marlena (Deirdre Hall) could be forced to soon face a ghost from her past on Days of Our Lives.

The therpist will be summoned to a prison near Salem for a consult with former patient Clyde (James Read), who will once again request some sessions with her, as he is still bent on revenge in the town where he helped wreak havoc. However, another prisoner who is nearby could be even more damaging for Marlena to see than Clyde ever could be-Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

Many years before, when Marlena was still with Roman (Josh Charles), Orpheus kidnapped her as revenge for Roman accidentally killing his wife while they were on a mission for the ISA. The situation came to an end when Roman shot him and seemed to kill him, though it was deemed too late to save Marlena, as Orpheus had put her on a plane which later crashed, and she was presumed dead. His body was also never found after he was shot.

However, he is in fact alive and well, much like Marlena is, and has been sitting in jail for so many years, wishing he could have a chance to get revenge on those in Salem. And when he possibly sees Marlena in the prison from a distance, he may realize that Clyde is his key to finally getting the revenge he so desperately seeks.

Orpheus may then introduce himself to Clyde, and the two could discuss their mutual enemies who are all still in Salem. While Orpheus may want to get revenge mainly on people like Marlena, Roman and John (Drake Hogestyn), Clyde's plans are for those who he felt wronged him during his time trying to run drugs through Salem, especially JJ (Casey Moss) and Kate (Lauren Koslow). And as the pair's list of people they want to see suffer grows, a plot to get revenge on the entire town of Salem will fall into place.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
