'Love And Hip-Hop Atlanta' Season 2: Stevie J & Joseline Hernandez Contract Details Revealed (VIDEO)
In Monday’s episode of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta season 2 titled, She Loves Me Not, Joseline Hernandez’ business partner, Dawn, told her in a meeting that the former stripper has made over $100,000 in two and half months from appearance fees and hosting parties.
Dawn then suggested that Hernandez release music while she is marketable before going on to inquire about her business contract with Stevie J. Stevie is Hernandez’s on-and-off lover who has promised to help with her music career in season 1.
“If we put that single out on top of what you already getting, that’s double what you already getting,” Dawn told Hernandez. “You the hottest sh*t, the media, magazines, radio, everybody want to know what’s up with Joseline,” she added.
“But if you tryna put the single out, we need to know what’s up with the contract. What if you get nothing off that single?” she asked.
Hernandez said she was unsure about the details of the contract because she had been blindsided by sex with him and their relationship problems.
“I didn’t read the contract…. I didn’t take it serious because I didn’t know I was gonna be the star like I am (now),” Hernandez told the cameras.
When Hernandez met up with Stevie J to discuss the contract, he declined to give her a copy of it and promised to give it to her another time.
An insider close to the show revealed the details of Hernandez’s business contract with the Grammy-winning music producer. According to the source, Hernandez signed an agreement where she has to give Stevie J a whopping 95% of what she earns.
"Stevie has to pay her rent and travel expenses and the like, but he gets basically all the money," the insider told Media Takeout.
The source also shared that the music producer-turned-manager asked her to have VH1, the network that airs Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta to have her paycheck sent directly to him and cut in his name. Stevie J’s contract with Hernandez was described as legal and “100% official.”
