Lady Gaga has released even more details about her new single, "Perfect Illusion", hyping fans to an even greater extent.

"Perfect Illusion", Gaga's debut single for her upcoming fifth album, will be released on Friday, and many fans are already freaking out. But now, Gaga fans have even more to talk about. That's because the pop superstar just released the single cover for "Perfect Illusion" on Twitter. The cover features Gaga holding a microphone and jumping in the air while wearing rock 'n' roll style clothing. It certainly suggests that Gaga could be heading into a more rock vibe rather than her usual pop-electronic style.

Additionally, Gaga gave fans a tease of some of the lyrics from "Perfect Illusion", tweeting "I don't need eyes to see, I felt you touchin' me, high like amphetamine, maybe you're just a dream."

The lyrics certainly align with Gaga's previous statement about "Perfect Illusion", telling iHeartRadio that the track "is about modern ecstasy," adding, "We found our sweet, simple, ragey way of saying it. I get this sick adrenaline rush every time I hear it."

Stealthy Gaga fans have already discovered that radio station 96.1 KISS in Pittsburgh will be debuting "Perfect Illusion" at 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT, so if you cannot wait to hear the song on Friday, there is an option. The song is expected to be impact radio fully on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

As for Gaga's forthcoming album, colloquially referred to as "LG5" for now, there's still no indication of a release date. The album is still expected to be released by the end of 2016, but it's not clear exactly when. Either way, Gaga fans will at least have "Perfect Illusion" to tide themselves over until the new album.
