Kim Zolciak will reportedly appear on the upcoming ninth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Following news of her husband Kroy Biermann's release from the Buffalo Bills (after just two weeks with the team), Zolciak's former co-star and friend, NeNe Leakes, revealed that after she turned down her chance to return to the Bravo reality series, producers offered the upcoming role to Zolciak.

Because of her busy schedule in the world of entertainment, Leakes told People Now, via All About the Real Housewives, that she would be unable to return to the show in a full-time role or a part-time role and claimed she had instead offerd to star on the series as a “guest on the show in special appearances from time to time.”

“I heard once they couldn’t work their deal out with me, they went to Kim Zolciak,” Leakes revealed. “I’m just telling you the truth... When we couldn’t work the deal out on me making appearances, then they went to Kim to work the same thing, I suppose."

As for what Leakes thought of Zolciak's impending return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she didn't seem to be too thrilled with the idea and noted the cast addition as "really odd."

“I think it’s going to be really odd. Kim hadn’t been around the show for a while. It’s going to be odd having Kim back. But I think the fans want to see her though,” she noted.
