The new HOH in the Big Brother 18 house has made a big move with his nominations - even if the move was a no-brainer.

Head of Household: Corey Brooks

Nominees: Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo

Other houseguests: James Huling and Nicole Franzel

All throughout Friday, Paul and Victor talked nervously about Corey possibly nominating them for eviction. Paul was more worried than Victor, who suggested that they wouldn't just break their deal when James is still in the house to be targeted. Little did they know, James has had many discussions with Corey and Nicole over the past two days, cementing a Final 3 with them.

After the live feeds returned from being blacked out during the Nomination ceremony, it was clear that Corey had nominated Paul and Victor for eviction. Neither nominee had a big blowup, but both did express their disappointment and frustration in trusting Corey and Nicole. Paul told Corey that he understood this was a game move, but Victor told him he was hurt by his betrayal and thought they really had a deal to the Final 4.

Victor openly told Corey that they were no longer aligned in this game and he would be going after him (Corey) if he gets to Final 4 and wins HOH. Victor and Paul agreed that whichever nominee ends up staying that they need to work with James in order to go against Corey and Nicole.

Nicole and Corey intend for Victor to be evicted next week, if he does not win the Power of Veto. Assuming nominations stay the same, James and Nicole would be the only houseguests voting and would vote to evict Victor. Of course, if Victor does win the Veto, Corey would nominate James in his place, then Victor would vote to evict James, Nicole would vote to evict Victor and Corey would break the tie and vote to evict Victor.

The Veto competition will be played today, and could very well dictate the rest of this game.

Big Brother 18 airs another new episode Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
