Teen Wolf's Scott McCall won't leave Beacon Hills behind without first saying goodbye to a few friends enemies.

The True Alpha is nearing the end of his senior year, and, as such, the MTV series will soon come to a close. Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), Lydia (Holland Roden), and the rest of the pack will face their final foe in season 6, giving the infamous Peter Hale (Ian Bohen) a chance to break free from Eichen House.

"When we realized this might be the last season, we wanted to make sure we brought back these relationships," showrunner Jeff Davis said at San Diego Comic-Con, according to Entertainment Weekly . "We definitely wanted Peter Hale back to see the relationship between Peter and Malia and what other trouble Peter could get into... and we also have some great scenes between Peter and Stiles. I wanted to see again and Ian and Dylan [O'Brien] have some great stuff this season so we'll see."

The Ghost Riders will be the cause of season 6's mayhem, but will they be the reason Peter breaks free?

"You'll see," Davis told Entertainment Weekly. "We definitely do a bit of a flashback to show exactly what happened to Peter."

In the same breath, the series creator promised the return of a few more familiar faces, many of which will appear in the strange shadow world of the Ghost Rider's victims. The list of character's we'd like to see return is endless, but it sounds like Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) won't get a chance to head back to his hometown.

"Oh god. I'm sorry, I would love to make everybody cheer and be happy right now. I don't have any plans to right now," Hoechlin said in June, according to Hypable. "I kind of feel like where we left the character, at least, when I knew it was going that way, kind of wrapped it up in the passing of the baton on to Scott, is just kind of how I felt like that story ended. I don't know in which way he would come back into this world, exactly."
