He thought he could finally be done with his ex, and was lucky that his current fiancee was still willing to work things out with him after everything she learned and witnessed regarding his past, but now, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) may be forced to break Maxie's (Kirsten Storms) heart once again thanks to Claudette (Bree Williamson) on General Hospital.  

Claudette once again summoned him to see her so she could tell him her real reason for being in town, and told him how she was hiding out after getting into trouble, and told him she had a daughter she was trying to protect-and then revealed the shocking news that the little girl was actually Nathan's, and she had learned she was pregnant after she had filed for divorce from him.

Now, Nathan is going to be honest with Maxie immediately after learning the news, though she still likely won't be happy to learn about the latest development and it could put more strain on their marriage plans once again.

"Claudette has a daughter," he says in a preview clip for the Thursday, September 22 episode. "And she says she's mine."

However, the whole reveal could still be another one of Claudette's schemes, as she continues trying to mess with Nathan and Maxie, and now that she is fully aware he is also living in Port Charles, Griffin (Matt Cohen) as well. And not long after Nathan exits her room, she will call Griffin and beg him to come over.

"I need you to come over right now," she says in the clip.

And though he knows it could be against his better judgment, Griffin will go to see her. And if Claudette is trying to cause more drama and trouble for everyone involved in her twisted little game, she could feed Griffin the same story about being in trouble-and then tell him the little girl she is trying to protect is his. And if both Griffin and Nathan think they have a daughter with her, things could get ugly once again.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
