Everyone has been on edge since Clyde (James Read), Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) and Xander (Paul Telfer) started terrorizing Salem, and now, Marlena (Deirdre Hall), Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Claire (Olivia Keegan) will find themselves in extreme danger because of the three convicts on Days of Our Lives.

Since making their presence known in town, they have issued a number of threats against their targets, and made a coordinated attack against Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), where they kidnapped their son, Joey (James Lastovic), who they are holding hostage. But their plans of destruction are far from over, and the two women who were the main targets for Clyde and Orpheus will find themselves in trouble when the men come across them in town.

Clyde wants Kate to die because of the humiliating way she dumped him when he was still in town, while Marlena is being targeted because of the history between Orpheus and John (Drake Hogestyn). Both women could fall into the men's clutches, and be threatened and tormented once again, but in the interest of having a maximum impact and creating more heartbreak, will let them go and instead set their sights anew on a perfect victim-the unsuspecting teenage granddaughter that Marlena and John love so much-Claire.

Claire has been acting defiantly lately, especially since Shawn and Belle left town, and has been miffed that the curfew in town and the extra precautions have been keeping her from exploring and further cultivating her musical career. She was already berated for sneaking out once before in order to have some fun, but now, when she leaves the protection again and gives all security surrounding her the slip, she will make herself more vulnerable than she ever imagined-and Orpheus will take advantage when he spots her alone and snatch her. Now, both she and Joey are hostages, and their fates will depend on what Orpheus decides to do to get his ultimate revenge.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
