Everyone has been on high alert since it became clear the escaped convicts were all in Salem and ready to create trouble and problems for their enemies, and now, Steve (Stephen Nichols) will find himself and his loved ones as the newest targets for Orpheus (George Del hoyo), Clyde (James Read) and Xander (Paul Telfer) on Days of Our Lives.

The convicts have teamed up to be more effective with their threats against the people of Salem, especially the ones they feel did them wrong when they were there in the community, and after getting disguises, more powerful weapons and coordinating their plans of attack, they decided on their first targets, and decided the Johnson family were the perfect targets.

They snuck into the house, where Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Joe (James Lastovic) both were. Kayla was asleep on the couch after finally coming home after the brain surgery she needed to stop her issues resulting from the injury Ava gave her months ago. Joe was upstairs dreaming about Jade (Paige Searcy). But now, both will be jarred back into reality when the convicts arrive and take them hostage. And Steve, who only left the house to get Kayla's medications and some soup she requested from the pub, will come home and find himself not only face to face with Orpheus again, but will see his son and his Sweetness both in trouble, with tape over their mouths, their hands tied, and guns held to their heads.

Now, Steve will have to find some way to try and save his loved ones lives, in what may be the biggest test he will face to get Kayla back for good. But even if he can succeed in saving his wife, he may not be so successful in keeping his son out of harm's way, and Joe could be put in extreme danger if he's taken hostage and dragged off by the convicts.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
