Looks like Joe and Demi weren't being super honest.

Joe Jonas posted a Snap of him, Demi Lovato and his DNCE bandmates getting stuck in an elevator for four hours before a show. While this was at first kind of hard to believe, especially after how quickly Kylie and Kendall Jenner were let free of the elevator that trapped them during NYFW, we couldn't help but feel sorry for the pair.

Now, Joe has come forward and said the entire thing was a hoax!

"It was a lot less dramatic," Joe told People. "It was a total prank and we fooled everyone. I made the video saying we got stuck in the elevator, but we really weren't." 

Karma is going to get back at you real good for that one, Joe. Might want to steer clear of any elevators for a while.
