He has been trying to improve the image of DiMera Enterprises so his son has a better legacy to live up to than the one he did, but Chad (Billy Flynn) could find himself convinced to make a move that taints the image he's trying to create on Days of Our Lives.

Following the move the Kiriakis family made where Brady (Eric Martsolf) had men brought to a warehouse at the pier to try and catch the convicts, which wound up being unsuccessful and causing unnecessary deaths following a shoot-out, the family is in a precarious state. And their focus being elsewhere, as well as their priorities being so that they keep their family safe, has left their businesses all vulnerable, and Andre (Thaao Penghlis), who wants to find some way to still corrupt Chad to the darker DiMera ways, will decide to try to convince his brother to take advantage of the situation.

Andre wants back in the company as well, and may sense his providing sound advice as a way to get back in, and he will seek Chad out and tell him all about the blunder, and how it gives him a chance to move in. Chad may initially reject the notion, and will try to turn his brother away, until Andre potentially tells him how moving in on the rival businesses could help him get more money, something else that would be beneficial, not only for the company, but also Thomas' future.

Now, though he knows it could cross some moral lines and reopen some older conflicts that always occurred between the Kiriakis and DiMera families when Stefano was alive and constantly at war with Victor (John Aniston), Chad may find himself considering the opportunity-and whether or not it is the right move to make for Thomas' future.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
