Apple unveiled iOS 10.0.3 update for iPhone 7 line up to remedize connectivity issue

After a huge number of complaints on a connectivity problem on iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus, Apple has revealed the iOS 10.0.3 update to fix the issue.

Apple has recently released an update named iOS 10.0.3 for its iOS 10. The update is specifically intended to resolve the cellular connectivity issue reported in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The pop-up for the update might not be seen in the previous versions of iPhone as the update is solely made for the iPhone 7 line up only.

The problem seemed to affect most of the users from the US as thousands of complaints gathered indicate a similar connectivity issue only. Most of them stated that the device is randomly dropping its LTE connectivity from 4G to 3G, sometimes to 2G or, even showing a "No Service" icon when attempting to occupy Google Maps or Waze services. The complaints have been booming since the 3rd quarter of last month. The issue is mainly traced with numerous customers from Verizon.

However, reports of the similar type of issues were also heard from the users of AT&T as well. According to a most recent report by Bloomberg, Chinese customers even complain about a connectivity loss in Internet and social media groups. Altogether, the scattering seemed in connectivity became an intriguing issue in case of iPhone 7 flagship which required a quick solution.

As Apple didn't stock any particular country or carrier with this update, users can trust that 10.0.3 can be availed in all the countries and the sub-continents of the world to solve this connectivity issue. According to a report by 9TO5Mac, alongside 10.0.3, Apple has also introduced an update to its Classroom app that should solve the issues with the education app which was previously not being able to navigate other student devices nearby.

iOS 10.0.3 release notifications briefs that the update fixes other bugs including an issue where some users could temporarily lose cellular connectivity. however, another update named iOS 10.1 is on its way to being unveiled soon in the later part of the year. This update will exclusively features will include Portrait Mode for iPhone 7 Plus users which will leave them with the opportunity to showcase their in-depth artistic ability.
