Samsung still has increased revenue despite halting the production for the Galaxy Note 7 thanks to their other products. Now, fans are anticipating the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and rumors on the new phone's specs have spread online.

Forbes reported on some of the specs that are rumored to be included in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. First, it was speculated that the new phone will lose its physical home button and audio jack.

There are reports claiming that Samsung will remove the home button and will have a digital home screen button instead with the finger sensor to be integrated into the display. This will enable the phone to have full edge-to-edge display.

Aside from removing the home button, it was also rumored that Samsung will also remove the headphone jack in favor of USB-C Audio. Just like the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the new Galaxy S8 will also lose its headphone jack and a USB-C port will be used for wired headphones and charging. Many believe that it is also more likely that the box will include a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.

Other rumored specs are the 4K resolution screen and it is expected to run with Exynos 8895, Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 Chipsets and an ARM Mali-G71 Graphics Chip.  Aside from that, it was rumored that the Galaxy S8 will have dual-lens cameras that will take DSLR-quality photos.

Meanwhile, Phandroid reported that Samsung is doing everything in its power to keep everything about the Galaxy S8 a secret. There are reports that the company has notified its suppliers to not mention anything about the upcoming device. There are also rumors that claim that the company also issued a gag order to its employees to keep everything quiet.

As of writing, the company has yet to announce the release of the new Samsung Galaxy S8, but there are rumors that claim that they will announce the device on February 26, 2017 before the Mobile World Congress begins.
