Angelina Jolie's childhood nanny has some harsh words for the Hollywood superstar as she goes through her divorce from Brad Pitt.

Krisann Morel was a nanny to Jolie in the future Hollywood star's childhood years and witnessed the separation of her parents, Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand, first hand. Morel is now speaking out about Jolie and Pitt's divorce and custody battle and relating it to Voight and Bertrand's.

"I'm speaking out because I want to send a message to Angelina, who I care about very much," she told DailyMail this week. "I want to tell her, 'Please don't cut Brad out of the children's lives. Don't use the children as weapons in your divorce. And don't demonize your husband.'"

Morel observed that this is "exactly what your mother did when she was breaking up with your father. And the result was you had a lonely and traumatic childhood. Why would you inflict the same tragedy on your kids?"

Jolie currently has full custody of her and Pitt's six kids - 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - with Pitt having arranged visits. Morel expressed that she's worried that Jolie might be "repeating the past" as far as "repeating the same mistakes her mother made during her divorce - and I want to get this message across to her before it is too late."

Morel even went so far as to say that Jolie has "abandonment issues" that she is still working out, adding that she doesn't have "any concept of what a normal family looks like."

The former nanny added, "Brad does, he came from one. These kids have been through enough. Angie is trying to cut off their dad just like her mom did with her father. There is so little stability for these children as they travel so much - she is threatening to take away the one bit of stability they have."

Neither Jolie nor Pitt has publicly responded to Morel's comments.
